Fairytales. Every childs dreams put into words. But whats every childs dream, is what creates the laws my kind and I must live by. What the writer of all the childrens bedtime stories and tales of happily-ever-after do is portray vampires, werewolves, shape shifters, witches, elementals, always evil. Created just to simply destroy humanity, but were what keeps humanity intact.
Our laws are different than any others currently existing. Simply put, humans can never know the reality that surrounds them. In other words no human shall ever know of the other races. No individual can ever fall in love with another not of their race, strictly forbidding humans above all else. If you betray your clan, tribe, or team, you are branded as a traitor. Disobey these laws, the only punishments are death or banishment, nothing else, no matter the level of your pleas for mercy.
That is something never given within our system. Mercy is never given or received, it is simply non-existent. Compassion is fictional, mercy a false hope, and life is purely unadulterated chaos. A place where the strongest survive and the weak
well honestly you dont want to know.
Yet not everyone follows laws or rules. And those that dont become legends and inspiration to the rest. If they dont die first, that is. And those people and their life stories create our fairytales.

"When you sleep, your body marks the time. Yesterday dies in the dark; tomorrow wakes. Eyes open, you know. The body ages, the hourglass empties, death approaches, time is devoured but not lost."
